From the 14th to 22nd of July, Alessandro, Alessandra and Biljana, trainees of the Civil Service in our municipality, took part in the project "Youth Network Reloaded" in Codlea, Romania, promoted within the international network Drums For Peace.
The project, consisting of 5 mobilities, opened its path with a training course hosted by the association A.C.T.O.R (Cultural Association for Theatre and Origami in Romania) with the aim of training young youth workers in the field of European design in the programs of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps, under the supervision of the trainer Eugenia Barbu (Romania).
Starting from a depth sharing of experiences gained in the field of europlanning, we dealt with the priorities of the participating associations, as well as those of the target groups they address, leading to a self-assessment of the skills and areas of interest in which each youth worker is most likely to act.
Among the tools used during the week there are the logic matrix and the Erasmus+ guide, employed to improve the administrative and financial aspects of the actions, and we were given the opportunity to self-manage with the activities of the penultimate day by proposing and conducting workshops, in order to to give and receive feedbacks, exchange skills and experiment new approaches of non-formal education.
Learning these skills required hard work and a lot of flexibility to be able to put in writing processes and ideas elaborated only at a theoretical level, but it gave us a lot of experience and the desire to act concretely in our local realities, bringing home new skills and a clearer vision of how to act in the two programs… an experience that has marked us in a permanent way!
