From 5th to 10th November the project “Transform’action” took place in Platres, a village north of Limassol (Cyprus), on the topic of rural entrepreneurship. This Erasmus+ project was open to young people from Cyprus, Italy, Bulgaria and Czech Republic.
The place where the project took place was chosen precisely because it was in line with the theme, as this is a rural area of the Cypriot island and the participants were able to learn about many experiences and see with their own eyes the work of local entrepreneurs (ceramic laboratory, lavender museum, free plastic shop).
In addition to the cultural exchange, the project aimed to provide the young participants with an overview of the entrepreneurial process, using the situation they were immersed in during these five days as an example, specifically that of rural entrepreneurship.

“Going on Erasmus+ for this experience was one of the best decisions of my life. For five days, I interacted with young people from all over Europe, discovering new perspectives and cultures. My main concern before leaving was my limited knowledge of English, but in the end, this experience turned out to be the perfect opportunity to improve and brush up on my English, which I don’t use much in my daily life. During this experience, I tried to challenge myself as much as possible during the activities and workshops organized by the hosts, speaking, joking, and laughing with anyone. I learned the basics of entrepreneurship, specifically focused on rural landscapes, a topic I knew nothing about before this week.
