The Didactic Mine - The Didactic Mine of Youth Work project aims to promote an entrepreneurial mindset among youth in the social sector, support their communities, and improve the quality of development and innovation in youth work. The project addresses three different dimensions: environmental sustainability, diversity of educational activities, and digital dimensions.
The project, which began in September 2022 and is scheduled to end in February 2024, is the result of a partnership composed of TDM2000 (Lead Partner), the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo, NGO IUVENTA (Serbia) Corbiz (Turkey) IED (Greece) Intercultura (France) and Media Creativa (Spain).
As a result of the project, two important tools will be made available to all those working in the youth sector:
1- E-book containing 30 educational activities on entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship - resource aimed at 3 different targets (children between 6 and 11 years old, adolescents between 12 and 17 years old, and NEET youth between 18 and 30 years old)
2- Interactive game on social entrepreneurship and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The fruit of these first months of work is the creation of the project logo, by the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo, with subsequent publication of guidelines for the correct use of the logo in dissemination moments. In addition, the Authority has also created the dissemination plan for the proper coordination of all partners in promotional actions.
Further output achieved during this initial phase is the creation of the first newsletter by the IED Partner. In addition to giving a general overview of the project partnership, the newsletter also defines the main objectives of Didactic Mine. If you want to learn more, download the document:
Next step of the project will be the mid-term meeting at partner Media Creativa’s headquarters in Bilbao at the end of may. On this occasion the education activities that will be included in the E-Book will be discussed, as well as the teaching methodologies that will be adopted in the training planned by the project in France in mid-June.
