Between May 22 and 24, the midterm meeting of the European project "Didactic Mine - The Didactic Mine of Youth Work" was hosted at the headquarters of partner Media Creativa in Bilbao, Spain.
The project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, aims to promote an entrepreneurial mindset among young people in the social sector, support their communities and improve the quality of development and innovation in youth work. The project, which will end in February 2024, is the result of a partnership composed of TDM2000 (Lead Partner), the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo, NGO IUVENTA (Serbia) Corbiz (Turkey) IED (Greece) Intercultura (France) and Media Creativa (Spain).

During the midterm meeting, partners were able to discuss the timing and progress of project actions. In particular, there was a focus on the developments of the two project outputs aimed at youth workers that are currently being implemented:
 E-book containing 30 educational activities on entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship - resource aimed at 3 different target groups (children aged 6 to 11, adolescents aged 12 to 17, and NEET youth aged 18 to 30).
 Interactive game on social entrepreneurship and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Several actions have already been carried out in these first months of work, such as the research and study of educational activities by the partnership, the creation of the logo, guidelines and dissemination plan by the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo, the launch of the first newsletter by iED and the selection of activities by Iuventa. The project website by iED will also be published soon.

Next project step will be the training for youth workers planned by the project in France in mid-June. During the training, the methodologies for testing the 30 teaching activities that will be included in the E-Book will be taught. Testing of the activities will be conducted in all partnership countries in June and July.
