How does Europe fit into our daily lives? How does it affect our jobs, our families, our health care, our hobbies, our travel, our safety, our consumption choices and our social rights? How is it present in our countries, cities and regions?
As European citizens, no matter where we live, how we earn our living or spend our leisure time, the European Union affects our daily lives.
In the run-up to the 2019 European elections, therefore, the office services of the European Parliament have created a new website that aims to examine, as part of a larger project, the positive achievements of the European Union and its impact on citizens’ daily lives.
The texts include a selection of examples of EU policies, actions and projects.
This website is also interactive and multilingual, so citizens can easily find specific information on what Europe does for them, their religion, profession or favourite hobbies.
It is important to arrive to May 23-26, 2019 European elections completely informed about their significance and their long-term impact on citizens.
