On Friday, March 31st, took place the local event planned for the Actigame project. Actigame is a project funded by the Erasmus+ program, on which the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo works in collaboration with the Spanish leading organization EUducate, the Romanian association Dominou and the Czech organization Be International.
The aim of the project is to raise awareness among young people on issues of active citizenship, not only focusing on the right to vote, but also on the context of youth employment. The project aims to stimulate youth participation in citizenship through "gamification," or the use of interactive games and non-formal learning methodologies.
After participating in a training course in Granada, Spain and collecting data on the active participation of local youth through online surveys and interviews, the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo organized the local event.
During the event were presented the previous activities and the results achieved, including the games played during the training in Granada, answers to the online surveys, and a brief report of the video interviews conducted.
Afterwards, participants tested one of the games created during the training course: Europedia, a quiz on the topic of European Union institutions. After playing the game, participants provided their feedback and impressions of the game and how it affects the project theme.
