Between 9th and 12th December, the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo, together with the other partners of the Youth Monitor project, participated in an important milestone of the project at the University of Krems in Austria. This experience provided a key opportunity to consolidate the work done so far and to plan the next steps in the creation of an innovative tool aimed at monitoring youth policies in Europe.
During the stay, participants took part in an intensive training session that facilitated a structured exchange among the partners. The main focus was the analysis of data already available from each partner and the identification of additional information that could enrich the understanding of the dynamics involving young people. Areas of discussion included the interests of young people, the opportunities offered to them, the challenges they face, and the support networks active in various European contexts.
In the coming months, the project will focus on collecting and analyzing data on the evolution of youth policies in Europe, with the aim of creating a monitoring tool that provides a detailed and dynamic view of youth realities.
Moreover, due to its innovative and ambitious approach, the Youth Monitor project has been recognized as an example of "best practices" within the Erasmus+ program, Youth/Sport sector, and the European Solidarity Corps, in the Digital Transformation category.
