What is European Solidarity Corps?
The European Solidarity Corps is a new initiative of the European Union that offers young people job or volunteering opportunities, in their own country or abroad, with the scope of projects destined to help communities or inhabitants of Europe.
All youngsters that enter the European Solidarity Corps accept and share its mission and its values.
Projects are available for people from 18 to 30 years old.
After concluding a simple enrolment procedure, participants in the European Solidarity Corps can be selected and invited to join a wide range of projects, connected for example with natural disasters’ prevention or reconstruction after a calamity, assistance in centres for asylum seekers or different social problems in communities.
Projects supported by the European Solidarity Corps can last up to 12 months and will take place on the territory of EU’s member states.
