As part of the activities planned by the EURES TMS, Eurodesk Italy will conduct an Empowerment Workshop in Cinisello Balsamo on March 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. that will aim to stimulate the active participation of participants who will be personally involved in individual and group activities.
An average participation of 40 participants is expected. The workshop is aimed at all citizens over the age of 18 and with priority given to the 18-35 age group.
The activities, carried out with methodology mainly of dynamic animation alternating with some classroom moments, will be aimed at:
bring out their skills;
work on resistances, fears and limiting beliefs;
appropriately define the goals to be achieved with the TMS project; and
identify one’s plan of action.
The expected end result of the event is for participants to seize the opportunities offered by the program.
The activities scheduled for the empowerment workshop
A workshop consists of two sessions lasting about 2 hours each.
The first session is devoted to an activity of getting to know the participants and an initial analysis of the skills they possess. The EURES TMS initiative as a whole will then be presented with a mention of the registration platform. In the final part of the first phase, the empowerment pathway and action plan will be introduced, starting with each person’s goal within the EURES TMS initiative.
The second session of the workshop is focused on the empowerment part.
The introductory part will be devoted to a simulation of registration in the platform, which will be followed by an activity aimed at bringing out and considering in an employability perspective the skills possessed.
In the final part, the mobility path divided into stages will be analyzed, identifying, also through group work, potential detectable obstacles and possible solutions.
The activities are planned to be in-person and include the application of policies for contrasting covid-19.
In case of different indication from the authorities in charge, the activities could be rescheduled in online mode.
How to participate
The workshop is intended for all citizens over the age of 18 (priority to the 18-35 age group).

The workshop will be held at Pertini Cultural Center, Piazza Confalonieri 3, Cinisello Balsamo, on March 29, 2022 from 09:30 to 13:30.
The workshops are conducted in cooperation with the national network of Eurodesk Local Points.
