U.R. Impact - URBACT IV

Name and description of the project: "U.R.Impact: Prioritizing Social Impact in Urban Regeneration" is a project co-financed by the European URBACT IV program, with the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo as the lead partner.
The goal is to create an Integrated Action Plan that enables the assessment and implementation of the social impact of urban regeneration on the territory.
The Plan will be realized and implemented with an integrated approach, which will see the involvement and participation of different stakeholders.
These will be asked to contribute to the definition of what can be considered indicators of a positive social impact of urban regeneration projects, modeled on the different territories within the partnership.
Prioritizing social impact, with an approach geared toward community involvement, allows urban regeneration actions to be rethought by placing citizens and their social, economic, and environmental well-being at the center of the processes; moreover, it helps to increase the sense of belonging and civic participation.

Duration, program, and partnership:
July 2023 - December 2025
Funded by the European Union under the URBACT IV program.
