Eures Target Mobility Scheme (TMS)

EURES - Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS) is an action that promotes job mobility in another European Union (EU) member state, Norway and Iceland by facilitating job matching, facilitating employment opportunities, consolidating and renewing the approach developed in the previous Your first EURES job (YfEj) and Reactivate projects.

The target groups eligible for EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS) support are applicants aged 18 and older and employers. Unemployed and members of vulnerable groups have priority. Placement activities cover a wide range of employment sectors, none excluded.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) or equivalent organizations can receive financial support.

EURES TMS helps European candidates by offering a range of services. Specifically, the project offers:
 Interview allowance (covers travel expenses for attending job interviews) - Varies depending on the country of destination and the duration of the trip
 Additional interview allowance for people with special needs
 Relocation allowance for moving to another member state - Variable depending on country of destination
 Additional relocation allowance for persons with special needs
 Language training
 Recognition of diplomas and qualifications
 Residence allowance for trainees and apprentices.

It thus simplifies the process of advertising job vacancies on the platform, promoting online recruitment systems and attracting demand from small and medium-sized companies geared toward hiring European workers, including low-skilled or disadvantaged workers. At the same time, it assists employers in finding motivated and qualified candidates, enabling European citizens and long-term residents [Directive 2003/109/EC] to exercise their right to free movement within the EU, employers to identify the job profiles they need, and moreover, it enables them to meet the needs of the European labor market and reduce its imbalances.
