Didactic Mine
Name and description of the project:
The Didactic Mine of Youth Work project aims to reshape current structures by promoting a more inclusive and sustainable economic model through the introduction of renewed approaches such as entrepreneurial education, as well as to provide new tools for youth organisations to work with their target groups in the field of social entrepreneurship.
Duration, programme, funding (Cerv or Erasmus+) and partnership:
This is a biennial project, from September 2022 to February 2024, which has obtained a funding of 200,000 euros in the framework of the Erasmus+ | Youth Key Action 2 (Partnerships for Cooperation in the Youth Sector). Didactic Mine was presented by the Sardinian lead association TDM2000 in partnership with the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo, NGO IUVENTA (Serbia), Corbiz (Turkey), IED (Greece), Intercultura (France) and Media Creativa (Spain).
Specific objectives of the project: the objectives of Didactic Mine are:
provide tools to guide youth workers and students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset;
raise awareness of the role of each individual in acting for sustainable development;
to support capacity building and collaborative partnerships in youth NGOs;
support young people in the transition from youth life to adulthood, promoting social and economic inclusion for all.
Project Activities:
Kick off meeting in Serbia.
Mid-term meeting in Spain.
Production and translation of an interactive game on youth entrepreneurship. The game will consist of cards with problems and solutions related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The production of an e-book containing 30 educational activities on entrepreneurship education. The resource is aimed at 3 different targets:
a. children between 6 and 11 years old
b. teenagers between 12 and 17 years old
c. young NEETs between 18 and 30 years old
One LTTA event in France to share the results of the work on the e-book and the game and train participants on how to use the two project results.
Two local multiplier events for the official presentation of the materials.
A final meeting in Sardinia.
Final products of the project:
E-book containing 30 educational activities on entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship.
Interactive game on social entrepreneurship and the SDGs.
