Actigame
Name and description of the project: Actigame aims to raise young people’s awareness on the issues of active citizenship, not only focusing on the right to vote, but also on the topic of youth employment, the progressive increase of NEETs (young people who are not in education, neither employed nor seeking employment and are not engaged in other educational activities, such as internships or apprenticeships). The project aims therefore to stimulate youth participation in citizenship through ’gamification’, for example by using interactive games and non-formal learning methodologies.
Duration, programme, funding (Cerv or Erasmus+) and partnership: This is an 18-month project, from November 2021 to May 2023, funded by Erasmus+ - Small Scale Partnership in Youth (Key Action 2). The Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo is involved in the project together with the Spanish lead organisation EUducate, the Romanian association Dominou and the Czech organisation Be International.
Specific objectives of the project: the specific objectives of Actigame are:
To create an increasing active approach to citizenship among young people.
To exchange and share different methods of participation between the partners involved.
To provide Youth Workers with the knowledge, tools and experience to improve their ability to promote active citizenship with young. people through a mixed methodology with a focus on gamification.
To raise awareness among young people and Youth Workers about the support the EU provides to young people to achieve their goals.
Project Activities: the project activities are:
A training course in Granada, Spain, to train participants in the concepts of "gamification" and active citizenship and to produce interactive games on active citizenship issues.
Local activities, including the production and dissemination to young people, youth workers and policy-makers of questionnaires on active citizenship issues and the collection of interviews.
A local event to promote the results of the training course and the dissemination of the questionnaires and to officially test the games produced during the training course in Granada.
Final Product:
Various interactive games on active citizenship.
Questionnaires shared during the data gathering process.
Interviews with young people, youth workers and policy makers.

Local event for the Actigame project
On Friday, March 31st, took place the local event planned for the Actigame project,on which the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo works in collaboration with the Spanish leading organization EUducate, the Romanian association Dominou and the Czech organization Be International.
Actigame: Training Course in Moclin, Granada
From October 6 to October 13 2022, the first training course of the Actigame project was held in Moclin, Andalusia, Spain. The project involved 16 participants, including youth workers, stakeholders and educators, from four associations from also four countries: Asociacion EUducate (Spain), Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo (Italy), Asociatia Dominou (Romania) and Be International (Czech Republic).
