Europa in Comune
Name and description of the project: The EUROPA IN COMUNE project aims to create spaces and moments of meeting and confrontation between young people and local administrators throughout Lombardy, to outline together new opportunities and strategies for the community. The project idea stems from a specific need: that of showing that through non-formal education activities it is possible to create virtuous paths of structured dialogue, thus fostering discussion between young people and administrators on issues of European interest.
Duration, programme, funding (Cerv or Erasmus+) and partnership: The project was promoted and funded under the European program Erasmus+ Key Action 3 and will be led and managed by the Municipality of Sarezzo (lead partner) and the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo (partner), in collaboration with Anci Lombardia.
Specific objectives:
- Three meetings with young people between the ages of 16 and 30 and local administrators up to the age of 35. Within the track they will talk about active citizenship, opportunities for study, work, volunteering in Europe for the under-30s, key citizenship skills and youth in Italy and Europe.
