Two workshops for the Digital Civic Participation project were done in October with high school students from the Falk High School in Cinisello Balsamo.
The activities were done with two groups of students attending third and fourth grades following the non-formal education method.
The first activity was to ask the students some questions about their personal use of digital tools and how their approach has changed during the pandemic. The answers were structured as multiple-choice, and based on the answer, the guys had to move around the posters in the room. This movement allowed to break the ice and start engaging the students.
Then, we presented the project and its goals and we created a moment of discussion on the topic of active digital participation.
Both groups were given the same activities but it was very interesting to see how in each of the two the responses and results were extremely different. It was very nice to see that the guys were passionate about the topic and were able to express their thoughts.
