What is an au-pair?
Working as au pair means living with a foreign family, helping to look after children and do the housework in exchange for an accommodation, food and a small remuneration, pocket-money or agent-de-poche.
Necessary requirements:
• Age between 17 and 30 years old (even if in most countries the minimum age is 18 and the maximum is 27);
• Being unmarried and without kids;
• Having a basilar knowledge of the language of the country in which you want to sojourn.
Driving licence is often required and smokers are not appreciated. Previous documentable experiences in taking care of children are considered preferential requirements.
